Editor’s Quote of the Month

Hello and welcome to the first edition of The Hornet! The R.R. Moton Community Center Newsletter! Over the past few years, we have noticed that the flow of information in the Leeds Community is limited at best. This newsletter was created to help fill the gaps. The Hornet will in no way be a source of official news. However, we will try our best to keep you informed of the local activities in and around Leeds as well as at the R.R. Moton Community Center. The information presented here will in some cases be expressions of what we see happening in our world not only locally, but nationally and internationally. We will attempt to present information in a way that will unite and uplift us as a community. The topics that will be covered include but are not limited to health and wellness, sports and outdoors, finance, recipe ideas, politics, local events, education, and the list goes on. The Hornet is a work in progress and will likely transform over the years. We are open to your comments and look forward to hearing your topic suggestions.
